The shingles were solid, the flashings were tight, A perfect, safe landing for reindeer in flight! Josh's daughter, Mila, was nestled in bed, While visions of safe chimneys danced in Josh’s head.

Josh, out on the lawn, wore his cap, slightly askew, Thinking, “My work here is done, I’ve seen every roof through.” He’d checked all the valleys, the gables, the peaks, No ice dams were forming, no dangerous leaks.

With a final proud glance at the work he had done, Knowing safety for Santa and sleigh had been won, He smiled, “If those hooves hit a roof that is weak, The big guy could tumble, and that would be bleak!”

He knew every if every roof was fixed by his team, Santa would be able to fulfill all the dreams. From Atlanta to Milton, his crew was the best, putting every roof’s integrity to the test.

When suddenly, out on the roof, there arose a clatter and jolt, Josh looked out and thought “Could that be a loose shingle or bolt?”
