With a goal of efficiently serving the complex financial needs of clients and ensuring adequate ability to concentrate in all aspects of a financial advisory practice, Josh Lewis, Financial Advisor, CFP® and Nathan Link, Financial Advisor, CFP®, CRPC® merged their individual practices to become The Milton Group at Morgan Stanley.

Taking pride in their commitment to truly understanding the unique goals and challenges that arise in their clients’ finances, Josh and Nathan have established a practice that offers an array of services including Financial Planning, Retirement Planning, Estate Planning, Education Planning, and general investment guidance. When it came to developing a name for their united team, their strong sense of community led them to easily settle on “The Milton Group at Morgan Stanley.”

Nathan and his wife, Lauren, were drawn to Milton from Brookhaven in 2014 by the family-oriented lifestyle, great school system, and the rural feel of the area. Their children, Clara and Nate, began their school career at Birmingham Falls Elementary School and now attend Milton High School and Northwestern Middle School, respectively.

Outside of advising clients, Nathan is always willing to lend a hand to youth sports organizations. He has volunteered his time to coach NAFL and Milton Feeder football teams for the past five years, as well as Nate’s baseball teams over the last six years. He has also served as a coach at Rush Union Soccer and Halftime sports basketball programs.

In 2015, Josh and his wife, Stacey, were also attracted to Milton for the rural feel as well as the equestrian lifestyle of Wood Road, where Josh’s family owned a horse farm until 2017. In January of this year, they sold their home in the Blue Valley neighborhood and relocated their family, with children Jackson and Caroline, and two dogs, to a “hobby farm” on Wood Road. Josh can be found outside most weekends enjoying his work to maintain and improve the property. Spending time outdoors and with his family, as well as traveling, are also top priorities alongside his career.

Celebrating his 25-year anniversary with Morgan Stanley this year, Nathan began his career as a Financial Advisor in 1999. He earned his Finance degree from Auburn University followed by completing an International Finance concentration program at Richmond University in London, England. In 2007, Nathan completed the education and examination requirements to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®). He also holds the CHARTERED RETIREMENT PLANNING COUNSELOR® (CRPC®) certification. Nathan’s primary responsibilities at The Milton Group at Morgan Stanley include the daily management of client assets, developing new investment strategies, and cultivating new client relationships through referrals from existing clients.

Josh began his career in financial services in 2006 after graduating cum laude from the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s in political science and a bachelor's in Spanish. While at UGA, Josh had the opportunity to spend the summer of 2004 living with a family in Cádiz, Spain, and studying at the Universidad de Cádiz.

Josh concentrates on providing holistic wealth management solutions to families in the “accumulation phase” of life—specifically focusing on athletes and entrepreneurs, and their families. He utilizes Morgan Stanley’s industry leading financial planning platform and private client research to craft investment strategies that align with each family’s unique goals. Josh earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ (CFP®) designation in January of 2011 from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.

Completing The Milton Group at Morgan Stanley team are Cherie Beasley, Senior Registered Associate, Abbe Moss, Portfolio Associate, and Jordan Neuberger, Client Service Associate.

Cherie joined Morgan Stanley as a Senior Sales Assistant in 1986. She completed Financial Advisor training in 1993 and served in that capacity before transitioning back to the support side. Cherie’s primary responsibilities include customer service and account maintenance. She is also very involved in helping clients consolidate and transfer accounts from other brokerages.

Abbe has over 15 years of experience in the Financial Services industry after graduating from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a degree in Communications. Abbe's primary role for the team is to help simplify client's financial lives by assisting with their many day-to-day account needs. This often involves cash transfers, IRA contributions and withdrawals, cost basis updates, direct deposit, and online education. She also introduces clients to the multitude of services that Morgan Stanley has available.

Jordan is originally from Fairfax, Virginia but grew up in Alpharetta, Georgia where she graduated from Milton High School. Jordan earned a degree in Education from The University of Alabama followed by a decade-long career in Special Education. Developing a passion for personal financial planning over the years, she opted for a career change and joined Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. Jordan currently lives in Cumming, GA with her three children, Luke, Abby, Kathryn. Away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and staying active.
