Owner Catherine Keith says, “We are an inclusive studio with the goal of helping our clients feel their very best in their own skin.” The studio celebrates the beauty of individuality and strives to create a safe and welcoming space for all.

Chris and Catherine Keith purchased the Alpharetta location of Waxing the City in November of 2023, followed by opening the Cumming East location on April 25th of this year. With both Chris and Catherine having established successful corporate careers, they followed their dream of building their own legacy by becoming business owners. After researching several opportunities, they settled on Waxing the City because of “the amazing culture and brand mission of improving the self-esteem of everyone around the world.”

Waxing the City strives to provide best-in-class service and an exceptional client experience by tailoring services to their client needs and avoid a one size fits all approach. Catherine shares, “We love helping others feel their best about their skin and helping them achieve their personal skin goals. We also love providing a space where our clients can feel comfortable and we can meet their needs, whatever those might be.” They pride themselves on creating a warm and inviting atmosphere where clients can unwind and indulge in a moment of well-deserved relaxation.

As business owners, they also strive to create a positive and fun environment for their staff as a place where everyone enjoys coming to work, as well as to further the careers of their team and help them reach their individual goals. Treating their clients as friends, they believe that nothing is better than the laughter and positive vibes that you can hear in their studio!

Chris and Catherine met in Tallahassee, Florida, and moved to Atlanta in 2003. They have lived in Alpharetta since 2005 and love this area and their community. As business owners, they are members of both the Alpharetta Chamber of Commerce and Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce. They have a 15-year-old son who is a rising freshman at Denmark High School where Catherine volunteers her time on the Denmark PTO Board. Chris serves on their Shiloh Farms neighborhood’s HOA board. They passionately support dog rescues and are proud owners of their own two rescue companions, Blue and Belle.  

Chris and Catherine are excited to continue expanding the Waxing the City brand in the Atlanta area, with their recent opening of the Cumming East location.
