Come On Down to Dental Town: Serving Milton Residents of All Ages by Milton Dental Town

Celebrating their two-year anniversary, Dental Town Milton prides themselves on providing conservative treatment to meet all their patients’ oral health needs. They treat patients from a pediatric age to geriatric age which allows them to build long-term relationships with their patients and families

The original location of Dental Town was established in 2006 in Johns Creek by founder Dr. Michael Hansen as a pediatric dental practice. Over time and with the phenomenal environment created for patients, parents wanted to be treated at Dental Town as well leading the practice to treat adults which in turn opened doors to expanding the practice to offer orthodontics and oral surgery as well. In addition to Milton and Johns Creek, there are Dental Town locations in Alpharetta, Canton, Forsyth, and Woodstock.

Dr. Eric San Diego was drawn to dentistry by the ability to have a personal relationship with people and he has especially found that in the tight-knit community of Milton. After working for another dental practice following dental school where his values did not align, he was thrilled to have the opportunity to join Dental Town in 2022 where he was most impressed by their core values which are defined by the acronym P.E.A.R.L. – personal progress, engagement, accountability, responsibility, and love and compassion.

Dr. Reid Donakey made his way into the dental field as he was seeking a career that was hands-on and because he enjoyed the combination of healthcare along with the artistic element of dentistry.He joined Dental Town in the summer of 2023 where he feels like his style of dentistry is in line with the other practitioners who are also conservative treatment planners, putting their patient’s needs and concerns first and doing the right thing for the right purpose.

When not at the practice, Dr. San Diego enjoys baking and even brings special treats in for office birthdays. Dr. Donakey enjoys running, biking and swimming. He and his wife are currently training for an Ironman competition in the fall. Both doctors have three children each under the age of six whose ages match up well as playmates so their families often enjoy the outdoors together on camping trips.  

Addressing the myth that going to the dentist is painful, they realize that the fear of feeling uncomfortable or pain is a real thing. But they are quick to point out that you should not wait until a tooth hurts to get it checked as it may be easier to treat and less invasive if addressed early. Often patients will come to Dental Town after having a bad experience with another provider causing them to lose confidence in finding a dentist that will truly listen and relate to their concerns. Milton Dental Town strives to provide exceptional service from their front office staff, assistants, dental hygienists and doctors for a comfortable environment making it possible for patients to open up and have the kind of conversations that lead to discussing the best care for their health.
